Variety to Honor Hollywood's Most Philanthropic and Influential Women at the 3rd Annual Variety's Power of Women Luncheon Presented by Lifetime

Variety is pleased to announce the line-up for their third-annual Variety’s Power of Women luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on September 23, 2011. In conjunction with their annual Women’s Impact Report, and in partnership with Lifetime Television, Variety will bring together an intimate group of Hollywood’s most philanthropic women selected as Variety’s “Lifetime Impact Honorees” who, through their efforts, have made a significant difference to their chosen causes.

The exclusive luncheon will host four-hundred and fifty invite-only guests made up of Hollywood insiders, who will come to celebrate, support and pay tribute to the philanthropic efforts of these amazing women. The afternoon will also include a VIP pre- and post-ceremony cocktail reception with an interactive “Philanthropy Bazaar” designed to engage guests with the featured charities and participating brand sponsors.


This year’s honorees include four-time Oscar-nominee Annette Bening (for her work on behalf of The Actors Fund), Grammy Award winner Mary J. Blige (FFAWN), Golden Globe-nominee and two-time ALMA Award winner Eva Longoria (Eva’s Heroes), two-time Golden Globe and Emmy-nominee Lea Michele (PETA), DreamWorks Partner and Chairman Stacey Snider (City Year), and actress Olivia Wilde (Artists for Peace and Justice). Director and producer Adam Shankman is set to emcee the event.
